Specification.

  • Model No.
A food processor is able to dice, slice, and shred foods while blenders are designed to pulverize them. A food processor can mince onion and garlic, for example, while a blender is meant to make smoothies or pureed sauces.
It really depends on what you’re making! For salad dressings or creamy dips, like hummus, a blender and food processor may be used interchangeably. But, if your goal is to shred ingredients, like zucchini or carrots, or chop foods, like cabbage or cucumber, you’ll want to use a food processor.
Most often, the motor in food processors is not as powerful as the motor you find in most blenders. While they shine in prepping ingredients, such as chopping and dicing, they may not be able to pulverize the toughest ingredients, such as almonds, into super smooth almond butter.
All components are top-rack dishwasher-safe, except for the motor base, which should be carefully wiped down by hand. Never submerge the motor base in water.
